How to make my review blog popular?
So I have a review blog called MegatonReviews, http://megatonreviews.blogspot.com/ and it just isn't really getting any visitors. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make it more popular? Thanks!

Well, I have attempted similar acts in the past and there are a few tips and tricks I've found that can increase popularity of your services.

First and foremost I believe would be tags and keywords. Use them a lot, this can help increase your chances of getting onto the front page of Google when someone searches for said reviews.

Secondly, you can even set up an account with Google (adsense?) that you can use with your blog to increase chances of getting on the front page.

Also you can use a tool that Google offers to see most searched terms for a period of time, try to target things that are popular on Google.

This next tip works well for livestreaming and things but I'm sure you can work it into your blogs somehow. Work with others who are popular, perhaps a video review over Skype with a more popular reviewer. Working with others and having both people post the content on their sites will increase cross traffic between the two sites, bringing more users to your content.

Another idea is, if you're able, get your own REAL website. www(dot)megatonreviews(dot)com is actually available right now for purchase and makes you look much more professional than having a site on blogspot. With this you can also host your own ads and other things to actually bring in revenue for your site.

Giveaways! If you're actually reviewing products, try giving them away sometimes. Do your review and then have one lucky subscriber get the actual product from the video for liking you on facebook or something.

That brings up another tip, use social media. Have a facebook page, twitter feed that announces when new reviews are up, things of that nature.

Finally I would make sure you offer top-notch content. Make sure everything you put out on the web is the best quality you are capable of producing and try to be one of the firsts to review an item/service. Putting a review out for something 2 months after it comes out is not going to increase your fan base.

I know some of these ideas are very vague and general but I think with a bit of research you can really get this done! I wish you and your blog much success in the future.

EDIT: Ooh, one more tip! Use the internet to your advantage! Search for people who are asking about something you have content on and link them to it.
