Is marilyn mansons career dead?
Lately I've been seeing a lot of negative comments about him, people saying he's lost his touch. I don't think he's lost his touch, I think he just needs to get back on track.
I've watched some of his performances in 2013, and he doesn't seem to be as good as he used to be, it seems like he is always drunk and not really trying anymore.
I haven't seen any interviews with Manson in 2013, I haven't seen any twitter updates or anything related to whats going in with his career.
Does anybody know whats going on with him at the moment? Is his career dead?
Please no hateful comments!
Also, if anyone has a link to any interviews in 2013, that'd be really great Big Grin

" it seems like he is always drunk and not really trying anymore."

Did he try in the first place? Marilyn Manson's career was dead before it even started.

* also another thing, jim Morrison of the doors. He wasn't sober for the last 3/4 years of his life and made great music so don't blame the drink. U wouldn't say Keith Moon and John bonhams drumming was terrible after they hit the bottle, would u? He is just a kid on rock star. If he was for real then he could handle the drink and music (although the 3 I mentioned couldn't but they still made far better music than some guy that sucks his own cock, literally)

Marilyn Manson has always been surrounded by negativity. I personally like his music, even his latest stuff. Perhaps he has faded, but that happens with alot of artists. The music industry has changed alot, so sadly his music is probably irrelevant to alot of people. But in my opinion, most music today is ****. So I don't care if its irrelevant to everyone else.

No it's definitely not. In fact I believe his career is more alive now than its been for a very long time. He appeared on Californication, he came out with his amazing album Born Villain, he wears make up again, he toured with Rob Zombie and is currently on tour with Alice Cooper. He's been doing tons of meet and greets (And I met him!!)

He's had plenty of interviews! I'll be glad to link you to some.

It's 33 minutes though haha.

I know it's 2012 but it was after his most recent album came out. Smile

Also he's going to appear at the golden gods awards, he's nominated and it'll be on May 2nd.

Marilyn Manson is outstanding and his career is definitely not dead!
