What are my chances for an Ivy?
Especially Upenn

Chance for Huntsman/Wharton UPenn ED
Just curious as to what you guys would think. No harm done in doing a bit of prediction eh?

I got to a rigorous math/science high school, even though I'm more of a humanities person, interested in majoring in business/econ/international relations. No weighted averages, tough classes.

Grade: rising senior '13
GPA: 94.4
SAT: 2160 (2nd time, see score divisions below in "updates")
SAT II: Bio (Molecular) 700
(Will be taking USH, Physics, Math II in October) *gulp*

AP: (all 4s)
USH
Euro
Spanish Language
English Language

Senior year courseload:
AP Stat, AP Calc AB, AP Macro/Micro Econ, AP Spanish Literature (*gulp to all of them...*)

Super fluent languages: Mandarin, English
Learning: Spanish, Korean

Although I cannot travel out of the US, I live in a very diverse city (NYC) and I regularly go to my local Spanish church to improve my Spanish, listen to Spanish songs, watch telenovelas
Started learning Korean because of my kind Korean neighbor, when I moved away I still watch Korean dramas, listen to K-pop, learn one Korean lesson/day.

Lol I tried my best. Hope I don't sound pushy. Do I have a chance? *prays*

Update new stuff and more info:

Trend of grades: High freshman, High sophomore first term, lower soph 2nd term, lowest junior 1st term (issues), higher junior 2nd term (big improvement in previously bad subjects, teachers writing recs)

shape looks like a u, parabolic, lol

SAT breakdown if it matters: 750 Reading 750 Math 660 Writing = 2160 (2nd time)

Full senior year courseload 4 APs as mentioned above, Forensics science, Symphonic band, english elective (non ap), Government (social science elective)

EC Update: started the first SAGE (socially responsible business) club in NYC.
running for district governor of Interact Club

Note, I'm applying as an international student because I'm technically a temporary resident so that will definitely have an impact on my app. They're more selective than ever. Even though I've been living here for 10+ years.
Lol I know you just got that from admission stats. But more input please? As in words?

Thank you.

As in words? There are at least 100,000 applicants with stats better than yours.

The Biology SAT Subject Test score is okay. However, those string of 4s on your APs are gonna hurt you. You should have had at least one 5 if not all 5s considering where you are applying. If you were engineering it probably would not matter, but your SAT Writing score is weak for a Business major.

Finally, the talk about rigorous math/science school does not seem to fly too well, if you have such a strong gpa, but just 4s on your AP Tests. Most of the time people bring up the talk about rigor when there is obvious grade deflation. You know the guys with a 3.2 gpa but five 5s on the AP Test etc.

That is not to say, you will be rejected, but to remind you to make sure you apply to some less competitive schools too. (Just in case) good luck.
