Should I delete my Facebook?
I always deactivate it and then feel bored so I get back on. But then I just feel annoyed with the friends I don't really care about, and unfortunately I have a few "frenemies" that like to keep tabs on me. Honestly they only reason I HAVE ONE is for a few people who ARENT EVEN ON MY FRIENDSLIST, if I add them I feel like I will only draw them into the superficial ignorance. But I know I will probably want to keep it open if I close it.......just because I feel obligated. Ha ha
I appreciate your answer. That makes me feel good! I was thinking about that, they don't really care that much. But I know when you reactivate, it shows I think. I get nervous about little things. But I am definitely thinking about it, and I appreciate the time you took I thought my question was lost. Smile
Two really good answers! I think the annoying outweighs the good, too much drama and bragging.

A lot of people who are into Facebook are into themselves, meaning I doubt they would care if you deleted your Facebook. I don't mean that in a rude way - that's just how it is. I got tired of the nonsense, and the same boring posts, so I left a message saying that I was going to temporarily deactivate my account for these reasons. I'll go back on when I feel like it, but as of right now I've been off of it for about two months. I used to feel like getting on it when I was bored, but after you make yourself stay away from it, you learn to kill your boredom in other ways, so it stops becoming so tempting to activate your account again. My actual friends and me don't communicate through Facebook, so it's not like I'm missing out on anything socially, really. I go on Instagram quite a bit, but that's not any better. I do enjoy Pinterest a lot.

Anyway, as for an actual answer to your question, if you don't like it, and don't plan on using it, then just deactivate it. Don't have one, or keep it up just because other people have one. My boyfriend and his friend don't have one because they think it's a waste of time. I thought about keeping mine up instead of just deactivating it, but I didn't want to feel obligated to return and check up on things, or have someone write on my wall or message me and think that I'm ignoring them. Sorry for the long answer. Hope this helps. Smile

You should deactivate it. I just deactivated mine last night. I always get texts from people asking why I deactivated it and that gets pretty annoying. I just get tired of all the posts about baby daddy/momma drama and all that religious political stuff being posted everywhere. The people I hang out with have my number so that's how we usually speak anyway.
