how do u shut down an account on facebook?

Um so I have 2 Facebook's and I want to close one down. FOREVER I've tried some things but they won't work. I just want to get ride of it like it never existed plz help me :-)

Follow these steps:
1. Go to the setting and find deactive button.. If you cant find it.. Go to help section and type it in How to deative my account click that..
2. After that, a section will come and click deactive
3. After u deactive, it will give u two weeks after that you cant use ur account
4. But Remember when they gave u the date dont log in between those dates otherwise u will be log in again and u too deactive again
5. Remember the dates it gives.. after the last date u can check whether ur acc is still open or its shut.
