To hide your Facebook friends list, go to your profile page and locate the Friends box in the left column. There is a small icon of a pencil in the upper right-hand corner of the friends box that will open a small window containing the settings. Simply uncheck the box marked "Show my friends on my profile" and your friends list will no longer show up to visitors.

Go to your profile page and look where it says Friends . In the upper right-hand corner there is an icon of a pencil of your friends, uncheck where it says "show my friends on my profile".

By default, everyone can see who your friends are in the Friends section of your timeline. To change this setting:
1.Go to your timeline
2.Click on the Friends unit (under your cover photo)
3.Click the Edit button at the top of the page and use the audience selector to choose who can see your friend list on your timeline
Remember that mutual friends will still be visible to others.
