Questions About The Mobile Icon On Facebook Chat / Messenger?
So theres usually a mobile icon to the side of someones name on chat / messenger and it on the side of the icon it usually says something like "3h" or "2m". Obviously that was the last time they checked there Facebook, some people dont have that "3h" or "2m" but they still have a mobile icon by there name...How is it some people have it publicly shown on when the last time they checked there facebook, and some dont have it.

Is it because they log out instead of leaving themselves logged in 24/7? Or is it because of a certian device there using?

Just curious...

The mobile icon indicates that the user is using FB on a smartphone with chat ON. The time mentioned next to the icon is the idle time. If there is no time indicated then they are checking their FB account currently.
