If I don't want to unfriend someone, but just don't want them to see what I post, will checking "report/block" do it?

Go to Your Privacy Settings -- >Right Hand Corner Of the Home Page.(Click the thing that looks like a screw) And go to "who can see my sruff" section
If you Block them, it means they are unfriended, and cannot contact you ever on facebook until you unblock
