Can the police track a Facebook account?
Ok. I know this is stupid. There was this account that my bf was flirting with. Talking dirty. Stuff like that. Anyways, I found out about it and I made a fake account to talk to him on. I made it under the same name as the original so he would respond. I did it because I wanted to learn more about it. I also messaged myself on the account. I don't know why I did that. Really rude things. But what's it matter it was myself, right? Anyways. Now his mom is taking it to the police. I don't understand why her son wasnt bullied. I know that this was stupid. And I know I should have never done it. But now I am so scared. What will happen? I just lost him forever when they found out..... If I confess to them will they stop? Please. Help me.

Your not going to get in too much trouble. Don't worry. You didn't do something malicious. Making a fake online profile isn't necessarily illegal. Have a nice day.

The police don't have time to waste on something like this. I wouldn't worry.

Just clearly say to them the truth. Instead your bf will be interrogated for flirting with girls. Always say truth so that they dont doubt you.

Many people have fake accounts in FaceBook and are currently slandering, according to you all these folks should go to jail. Don't worry, even if you get caught and confessed, its understandable that you're boyfriend was cheating and you did it to teach him a lesson.
