Blocked or deleted? 10 pts easy?

He doesn't show up on my friends list, but he does in chat. I click our old chat conversation and his picture is gone and his name is "Facebook User" I can still send him messages, but all of them fail and have an error. His profile does not show up on search.

Earlier, I think he blocked me because his name and picture appeared in chat but I was not able to send him messages. His page showed up in search, but when I clicked it there was an error. Other people could access his page, but I couldn't. If he did block me, there would be no reason why I'm guessing.

So was I blocked then he deleted his page? Or deactivated temporarily?

Neither, I think their was a server problem, try deleting and re-friending him. Hope I help!

Nobody can access someone's deactivated account....

Try this and see if you can find his profile when signed in from a different Facebook profile. (Obviously not your own profile) and see if you can find him. If you can find him,you probably have been blocked,and if you can't find him using any Facebook profile,chances are he has de-activated his profile.

if he's no longer in your friends list, you were blocked - you can still read old chat messages from someone who blocked you
