Facebook Page Privacy? How can I set my page to display only to those who liked my page?

I have a facebook page and it used to be that only those who liked my page saw my posts, and the "recent posts by others" were only seen if you came to my page. Now my posts are "reaching" over 6x the number of people who like my page and "posts by others" are showing up on timelines and newsfeeds of "friends of friends" showing not only what their friend of friend posted, but all the post on that post as well. Those who have liked my page are angry and wanting to unlike my page feeling it is a privacy issue. I'm not sure how to change it with the newest Facebook updates. Privacy is no longer even an option under my settings. It is fine for the page to be public, but I'd like only those looking for the page to be seeing it, rather than having it "pushed" out and promoted. However these people are not "friends" of mine they come to the page for page material, so a private group is not an option either, unless I can make the group from the page.
