I want to join facebook could you give me advice please?

I was in depression for over a year. I've had a gap year and I haven't started college yet. Me and my family have moved to a different city. I don't begin college until August and I don't want to add my old friends. I want to join Facebook but at the moment I only have a few friends (about 5) is that okay? I'm looking forward to meeting new people when I begin college. Thanks.

All you need is a new email address to create a new facebook page. There is no limit to how few amount of people you have on your facebook as friends, so it's fine to be selective on who you add.
