On FaceBook, how is it that you change your settings so that people can't request to add you as a friend, only you can send a request to them? I can't seem to find it on the new FaceBook settings. Thank you in advance!

You can change it so only "friends of friends" can add you.
If you're using facebook from a PC...
Click on the little lock symbol at the top right of the screen (next to Home)
Click on "Who can contact me"
Click on "Who can send me friend requests"
Choose "friends of friends"
Done!

Hi,
Unfortunately there's no direct option available to hide the 'Add Friend' button. You can't stop incoming friend requests at all. But you can reduce incoming friend requests by making some changes at your privacy settings.

1. Click on Privacy shortcuts button (Beside "HOME")
2. Click "who can contact me?"
3. Then on "who can send me friend request?"
4. Choose "Friends of Friends"
Done!
You can confirm it by clicking the small icon with drop down beside the activity log in your timeline, then click "view as"...

Hope this helps! c:
