Is there a way to stop Facebook giving away my location on messages?

when I reply to a message on my computer, it gives away my location. when I am invited to things that I don't really want to go to, I say I'm in london (where I work), but facebook has made this difficult lately as it will say I'm at home in southampton. is there a way to block my location, or make it say that I am in london?

p.s. can we avoid answers along the lines of 'why don't you tell the truth', I'm too petty and childish to do so, the lie is better and more convienient.

You can set the location off by going into the settings options on Facebook.

It a little box on the top right corner. Tap it and its easy as 123
