How to start talking to a girl on facebook?

right so i have no confidence to talk to girls to their faces as i fear rejection so i want to start talking to this girl on facebook but i dont know how to start a conversation. Help.

if you start a conversation with a girl on facebook
please start with normal like hi , how are you , howz you doing
and then name and then talk a bit about yourself and share a bit of good things like what you like and ask her what she like !!!
and don't talk to much in first day chat !!!

If your not friends in fb just add her and see what she says. If your already friends or once your friends message her and just say hi. It sounds stupid but that is how conversations start.

Chat polity and be a gentlemen. Girls don't like men who are very fast in approaching(which is seen very usual in FB) Try to be a friend first.
