Why are people so JUDGEMENTAL about things these days?

I don't follow many trends.

When i'm listening to Metal music, some wigga walks up to me and says "OMG YOU LISTEN TO METAL, YOUR RETARD LOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL".
When people find out that i use a Mac computer, people are automatic dicks about it.
When i read Japanese Manga in school, people start being fags about it.
When people find out i have a Twitter, people start to bítch about it on my Facebook wall.

Why are they so judgemental!?!?!?
