How do you stay out of the news feeds in other peoples facebook?

re-opened my facebook ( I don't like people to know what is going on in my life) but I want to stay in touch with close friends. My question is how can I completely stay out of other pple's news feeds? For example, anything I do - become friends with someone, put up a post, make a comment, change my profile pic, etc - I don't want that info popping up on the news feeds/wall of my friends...can I make that happen and how? no, you cannot just turn that feature off because it's the whole point in having a facebook account

the only option would be to add people you want to hide your activities from to your restricted list

Go to your privacy settings and change to "only me", who can see my stuff etc., share with no one.
