Facebook Active sessions - Question?

So i have many friends who synchronize their mobile "text" contacts with their contacts on facebook.
This will allow them to send text messages to facebook users and recieve them while texting.

But i wonder, do these people actually appear online (including a 'green' dot) when they're replying to their texts on mobile, or will it show something else?

Facebook seems to be more and more confusing with their sessions lol.

I was wondering the same thing, and I logged into another account while mine was on mobile, it didn't show me as online, just the mobile icon, facebook should really fix this.....
