I'm too scared to add my crush on Facebook :(?

I'm too scared to add my crush on Facebook, I found his profile months ago, but I can't find the courage to add him. I have sit beside my crush in two classes for months, and were still awkward to each other. I hardly use Facebook, and people don't add me often. Most of the time I have to add people. There isn't anyone else for me to add on Facebook so I would only be adding my crush, and it has been months since I added someone. My crush would be the first person I would have added in months. I'm also scared he won't accept my friend request. But I'm curious to see if my crush uses Facebook, or doesn't use it much like me. But most of our classmates didn't add him so I'm thinking of waiting until we have more mutual friends. (We only have ten mutual friends.) But we might not have any classes together next year. I don't have a profile photo either, and I never will. What should I do?

Get a profile and add him. Life's too short to worry about what anyone thinks! Including him!

No silly, just add him! It won't be weird, I mean people add others that they barely, or don't even know, all the time. It;s just facebook, its not some huge deal or anything. I think you are looking too much into it
