why would someone do this on facebook? ?

Basically 2 years ago my dad left to work abroad and mum and my sister created a facebook for him so he could talk to us on it it was ok at first but after months someone was making fake accounts of him pretending to be him and giving abuse to other members of our family on fb. But they didnt give me abuse though except for one time i got a friend request of my dad well i thought it was my dad so i accepted
Thinking it was him and i wrote on his wall whats with the new fb? But he didnt reply but then my sister told me to delete him cause its not dad its someone pretending to be him so i deleted him straightaway but i was annoyed a little bit cuz i was fooled but the person pretending to be my father. Still pretended to be my dad and gave people abuse and went to far with it to last year my dad was supposte to be getting a job in another country but the imposter pretending to be my dad gave abuse to the people there aswell on fb he didnt get it because the people there actually believed it was my dad saying all those mean when it wasnt it was an imposter and it really upset my dad to so he had to stay in tbe same country hes working in now and oh yh his real fb account had been hacked a few times to and also the imposter had stole the pictures to asbmost of us have some of are photos are public but now ive set them to private 'friends' and the imposter was bk this year made a fake account of my sister and took her pictures as they were public but their private now and another fake account of my dad was made but that was deleted after a week but this year gonna try and trace them so why do u there doing this making fake accounts? ?? Sorry for the long speech and ignore the writing thats under this
