how do i get rid of adds on facebook?

I've had loads of add's on the side of my facebook page, they're not adds by facebook as it says *adds not by this site' next to them. they aren't normal sorts of adds either because they're 'hot single ladies here now' and all that sort of stuff and it's really annoying me

it's not only on facebook though, they're also occurring on youtube and ask.fm and other websites

i use Google chrome if you wanted to know

try this its called adblock think it speaks for itself

as everyone else says you use adblock plus and wave goodbye to all those ads. it even gets rid of those annoying 30 second ads at the beginning of some youtube vids as well as adverts on tv channel pages that like to stop the show every ow and again to sell you some sh*t or other

While I don't know that much about chrome, I know that for Firefox there's an add-on called "Ad-block" blocks many ads
