How to hide your friend request button on facebook?

I think it can be hidden by setting privacy options. If you set that noone can send you friend requests, the button will be hidden so that no one could send the requests to you.

Hi,
Unfortunately there's no direct option available to hide the 'Add Friend' button. You can't stop incoming friend requests at all. But you can reduce incoming friend requests by making some changes at your privacy settings.

1. Click on Privacy shortcuts button (Beside "HOME")
2. Click "who can contact me?"
3. Then on "who can send me friend request?"
4. Choose "Friends of Friends"
Done!
You can confirm it by clicking the small icon with drop down beside the activity log in your timeline, then click "view as"...
