What do people mean when they post this as a status in facebook?

Ive noticed 5 people post the exact same thing on facebook.
it's a status and it goes this way..
"I saw a worm in my food, and I decided to try how it tasted like. It's actually not bad!"
and also this
" Im going to *insert faraway place here* in 6 months"
please help
