How can I hide my timeline posts in facebook from people who are not in my friends list ???
I tried this but i was unable to hide timeline posts.
Settings > Timeline and Tagging > Who can see things on my timeline? > View As

My timeline posts are visible to those people who are not my friends. I mean that my timeline posts are public.

use the "limit past posts" function to make all of your past posts viewable to only your friends

What you want to do is go to settings and make your profile private or it will say viewable to only your friends, so who ever is creeping you that isn't your friend should not be able to see your profile at all. Hope this helps,

Once logged in to Facebook, click the top-right cog/asterisk, then click PRIVACY SETTINGS; then, in first box, labeled "Who can see my stuff?" adjust your settings -- pick "Friends Only" to only allow your stuff to go to one level(their friends cannot see your stuff)

I have created numerous friend groups/folders/filters so I can, each post, limit that post to just a folder or two & block another folder(eg WORK, so my boss doesn't see what a perv I can be!); When I join an app, I go to Privacy Settings>>APPS, find that app, edit settings & change who can see it (eg only those in my GAMES grouping, or Friends Only, or, if it's new, or embarrasing, "Only Me"
