Facebook Etiquette: Who PMs first after a successful friend request?
OK, I was out celebrating last weekend after finishing some exams. It was a great weekend but Saturday night is a bit of a blur. Anyway, I received a friend request from this hot blonde girl this morning; the prob is I don't know her and I can't remember if I met her on Saturday night!

Here's the etiquette part: I was considering accepting the request but then should I be the one to send her a message and if I do what would i say?? Or is it up to her to PM me once I accept?

Any advice appreciated, she's pretty cute! Smile

f*** etiquette. just PM her "hey, thank you for sending the friend request Smile "
that's the best thing to do. believe me.

First of all , its nice that you deserves a friend request from that pretty cute girl.
I just suggest you to ask whether she know you or not (in case you dnt remember her)

she will definitely reply yes or no,, and after that you should ask things about her and tell her yours.
I thnk this will be nice step (logically)

Don't except the friend request staight away, even though you want to. If you do she might think you have nothing better to do than FB all day and have no life. Make her wait a few days. Then except it. Then watch when she is online give her a chance to PS/IM you first. Theres all sorts of reasons why people request friends. But don't worry about Etiquette. Thats for Black Tie events and the Women wear what they want anyway.
