Can FB friends see ALL my likes and comments in newsfeed? And if so, how can I turn that off?

Yes they can!! It won't go in depth on their news feed though!! For example,
If you commented on a video it would say (your name) has commented on a video and have a link to the video that you commented on, it will show everyone!! But I think you can turn it off by going to the people you don't want seeing it and selecting them as acquaintances instead of close friends!! Not sure though

not all of them, but some. if your commenting on something, it depends on the other persons privacy settings. if its public, it will show on those timelines who are friends with you but not friends with them. Facebook is stupid, there is no such thing as turning that off.

Facebook - aka dataminer project - is designed so everyone can see what you like and comment on. Friends, friends of friends, employers, everyone, including advertisers, plus any single FB application you use. Privacy with thrown out the window when you agreed to the small print (which no one cares to read).

You can't delete anything from facebook! If you select the delete button, it simply hides it from your view. They have huge database servers and backup servers which will still hold so-called 'deleted' content for years to come.

Don't believe me?
1) Upload a photo (facebook will auto-facial mark this upon upload)
2) Get the direct URL for that photo
3) Click delete on that photo and confirm yes you want to delete it!
4) Paste the direct URL and still have access to that picture
5) Retry that same URL a year later.

The company is keeping them accessible to anyone online for up to 30 months.

Facebook privacy is a joke, anyone can access anything on your facebook without your password. For example, an fb application just needs to ask you once, read the small print what it is asking for next time before clicking accept. Allow this application to access my posts, photos, person details, post on my behalf as me, etc, even allow access when your not using facebook.

Why do you think Anonymous has threaten them?

Facebook privacy is an oxymoron. It's a datamining project which has thousands of backups which never deletes even if you remove content, containing records down to what you clicked that 'like' button on. It also PhotoDNA's your photos in the backend. Facebook was known to sell data to the government. They track terriorist, gate crashers, suicudes, murder confessions, etc, all which idiots post online. CIA purchases $50,000, using it to help with recuitment mostly. The stupid timeline thing was designed due to american's microchipping your baby at birth was considered immoral, however if they gave that data to you freely... Employers also check up your facebook profile to see what kind of party animal you are or what you have been saying behind the companies back, etc.

Your be surprised at the amount of data collected over the years. Some one who tried to sue facebook, requested this data and got back a 268 page double sided report over his 2 months usage.

Facebook apps only need to ask you once to access you personal details, photos, and posts, even when your not using it.

Many of the most popular applications, or “apps,” on the social-networking site Facebook Inc. have been transmitting identifying information—in effect, providing access to people’s names and, in some cases, their friends’ names—to dozens of advertising and Internet tracking companies, a Wall Street Journal investigation has found.

The issue affects tens of millions of Facebook app users, including people who set their profiles to Facebook’s strictest privacy settings. Be careful what stupid little facebook apps you have clicked on.

Facebook doesn't delete your posts, it will just hide it for your view.

Facebook won't even delete your entire profile if you tell it to.

Anyone who visits your profile can see that you have a Wall, but what they see when they click your Wall tab depends on the privacy you've set for posts there.

The visibility of posts you make on your own Wall depends on the audience you choose for each post using the audience selector. For example, a friend will see posts you've set to Friends and Public, while a non-friend will only see posts you've set to Public. If you do not have any public posts, then a non-friend will see a blank Wall tab.

The visibility of posts others make on your Wall depends on the setting you've chosen for who can see posts by others.

However, understand even this privacy setting is an illusion. If you don't want someone to see it, then don't post or like it in the first place...
