Honest answer will be a yes definitely so. If its controlled and managed, like few hrs a day at most than it can help relieve the stress and pressure of study, actually be fun as long as doesn't get in the way of study been done.

Depends, how you use facebook.

If you friends or your know are in you facebook, you can get update or they can get your updates, I think, this is basic use for main social media. Now that people are on their mobile devices even while interacting with others, the smartphone has become man's new best friend. That has created a societal state that Sherry Turkle, a professor at MIT, has described as "alone together." She writes in The New York Times that "we live in a world where we are always communicating and yet we have sacrificed conversation for mere connection."

Most business owners can relate. Using social media tools like Twitter and Facebook is an "alone together" pursuit. It's easy to get caught up in social media for your business, when 30 minutes later, all that was accomplished was having a conversation with an old high school classmate or looking through a friend's vacation pictures.

Have a good night Smile
