How to no block someone?

On Facebook I don't want to see my friends post stuff about a guy I don't like (long story) and so how do I block from seeing anything on my news feed about him without blocking him?

if you don't want to see his posts, just go to his profile/timeline. go to the bottom list and click on manage list. There, you are given many options to choose. You have to unmark 'show in news feed'. It will stop that person to post in your news feed.(note: this is done from a mobile device)

When you see one of his posts on the feed, hit the little "X" on the top right corner of the post and select "Hide all from <ex-xyz>
