based off of the chat log, and i'm on a laptop not sure it that makes a difference. Thanks

You didn't create Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg did. You created a facebook "account" Wink

I think there are several ways people can find you. Your email is one of them (programmable I think) but I'm not sure specific location is used.
