If I block someone on Facebook and a mutual friend tags me in their status update, will the blocked person see the status and link to my page? eg Joe blocks Tim. Joe and Tim's mutual friend Steve updates his status: "I am going to the concert with Joe" (with Joe as the hyperlink to Joe's FB page). What would Tim see?

Yes, he/she will see your name. But won't be able to visit your profile by clicking on your name. And won't be able to find your profile in any other way..

yes. if you are tagged then they can see your name. but they cannot visit your profile.
