I unliked it immediately and I deactivated my account right after. Would he still get a notification/be able to see that I liked the picture?

I believe it would however if they go to check the profile of the user they will no longer be able to.

Try it with a friend. I think he will but if he clicks it you name won't show up. Blocking him would work for sure. You could always reverse it in a few days.

Don't worry ! If you like a photo and then unlike that in a few seconds then other user (photo owner) may get a notification but when he will click there to see the notification it will show 'the pages you request cannot be displayed'
No need to diactive your own acount..
