Incorrect facebook likes count?

Recently I opened a community page on facebook. There is always higher number of people who like my page shown on my page then it actually is. The counter on main page is saying for example 126 likes but when I display them and count them manually there is only about 90 of them. And the number on counter is increasing more quickly then the actual number of people who like the page. When one new person likes the page the number increases by 2 or 3. Well - I know that in this way my page seems to be more popular then it actually is But still it is quite puzzling and I am missing actual correct statistics. Why is this happening? Is there any solution?
