I'm new to twitter? Is this a good idea?

Hey everyone, so I just recently joined the twitter world last week (sorry for being so late!). I have few tweets and a little over 100 followers. I had an idea that I would start a hashtag(s) that go like : #quoteoftheday
#challengeoftheday

Just ideas like that, and just tweet an inspirational/positive quote and a fun/funny/difficult challenge each day. It just seemed like an idea that would be different than what most people tweet, and maybe it could even get me more followers. What do you guys think? I'm new to twitter so I don't really know much about it and what people tweet. But if it's a good idea, please give feedback!

Also, do you guys recommend any hashtags or other twitter accounts to follow that would make my twitter experience more fun, exciting, funny, up-to-date, and you know the deal! Thanks guys and gals!

Also you should search the trends of the day. Get to a search results page by entering the #searchterm in the search field. You would see “Trends” in the sidebar on the left, you can view the hashtags that are currently the most popular throughout Twitter. Use that hash tags too.
