I own a website, why wont it go viral?
Its been 2 years now, and ive learn many, many things the hard way. I've loved the journey and can wait for the day people sta using my website for their entertainment needs. However that day seems far away to me at this point.

The problem is that although my content is rich and perfectly fine, why cant i seem to attract the traffic to my website? Where do you find it?

I gathered after advertising, owning social media profiles and constantly updating people would start to take notice eventually. But no. Hardly anything! I see these quick Facebook groups with over 1 million followers - providing similar service to my site! How are they getting this volume of views?

Networking, networking networking. You can have the worlds best page, it can be funny, intelligent, attractive and nope - no traffic.

Connect with popular blogs and websites already. Ask to collaborate, maybe write posts or organise some long of cross promotion for them and you. Try and tap into the audience you want. What age group and sex do you want? Make sure you are findable too! On the web through searches but also add your link to forum signatures, twitter profiles, Facebook and other social media to push traffic to you!

Your site needs work on it. Just having quality content is not enough. You have to approach right number of people who can lead you get more and more traffic. Try writing blogs, article submission, off page has to be done with more attention so as to gain traffic. you can check all that stuff in your Google analytics such that you will be aware where the traffic is coming from and what works best for you.
All the best.
