No, they will definitely not be able to see internet activity at home! They have no way of knowing.

If they could, there would be a serious privacy issue there.

No, the only thing the school can see are sites that you visited while on their wi-fi. Usually the school doesn't check what sites you're going on their wi-fi either, but it blocks sites that may be inappropriate or sites like facebook and game sites

No, not if the home computer is linked to your home computer. That's your privacy. Now if you had a laptop loaned to you from school that might be on the school network, they might be able to. For example, last semester of my senior year the school gave us all iPads, that were on the school network and were still on the school network when you took them home, they had this thing called Casper (like the ghost) which made them be able to see everything we did on the iPad.

Dear Katie, Well Good Question deserve good answer. All said Legally your School can not should not monitor your files searches and so on when you are using your own computer at home even if you are using your own computer some place else. Now can they do it without you knowing Trust me they can but then they will be in big trouble privacy issues involved here. To put your mind at ease there are several ways that you can search do what ever you want without anyone tracking your computer or tracking what type of searches you do. The way I do it is when ever I connect to the net open what ever page you have as your home page then do CTRL/SHIFT / P TOGETHER what you will get is that you are browsing in private ( private Browsing) when you do that no one even the site you go to will not be able to see what you are doing or send you cookies every time you connect to what ever site page you go too. another way you can open any page then look at the wheel sign which is usually under the X the one you close the page you are on. So if you do that no one will know where you been what did you visit sites and so on even who ever uses your computer if you do it or use it in the mode of private browsing no one can truly find out where you visited. Now does that mean you are 100 percent secure the answer is NO but does that mean you are 98% sure the answer will be YES. another thing you can do is go also to that wheel on the right hand side under the X where you can close the page you are on left click that you will also see safety and then put the mouse on it you will see in private Browsing and Tracking protection so open these two and will give you the choice of going into private Browsing and Tracking protection among so many other things that will protect you including deleting Browsing History. Now does you school looks at your face book page well the answer is yes anyone can see what you post on any social media but what you can do is just put your security settings either for private or only friends but you better make sure the friend you add is a trust worthy otherwise it will go over the whole world. So as to this issue I will say proceed with caution. another thing is if you have Norton anti virus program it so it will stop any an d all cookies which will enter your computer by going to anyone page that will protect you more. I hope that answers your question and more then you asked. Trust me don't ever put anything on the net that you won't anyone to see if they Google your name it will show all so please know what you post even to so called best friends.
PS: Dear Did you Gain weight? I love to know how is your weight going?
