Should I add my Twitter and Facebook to my Resume?
A friend of mine looked over my resume the other day and told me I needed to add my Twitter and Facebook info to my contact information. I graduated just a couple of years ago, and when we talked about resumes (in more than one class), Facebook and Twitter never entered into it (my field is library science, if that makes any difference.)

What do other people think? I have to admit, to me it seems a little unprofessional to add social networking information to a resume, but maybe it's the next trend? You tell me.

Thanks!

Not unless the job ad specifically asks for them. These things seem to get prospective employees into trouble rather than assist the job hunting. There is nothing on either your Twitter or FB which cannot be added to your resume or be seen in an interview so why bother?

NO NEVER................are you sure that everything on both of those accounts show you in the best of lights to a prospective employer!!
Are all of your friends comments suitable......we all have 2 sides to our life professional and personal...there are many employers who are using facebook to find out what a potential candidate is REALLY like.....
