How can i stop getting posts of a friend on my wall?

Hello, I have a friend on facebook who keeps on sharing things on his wall and being his friend I also get all those posts on my wall but I am really sick of soooo much posts each day. I cannot unfriend him as he is my class fellow and it will look rude. Is their any way to stop getting his posts on my wall?

Yes!
You can go to his profile and just go to the FRIENDS icon (like when you want to unfriend him).
Just uncheck SHOW IN NEEWS FEED and that's it He will still be your friend but you won't see his posts in the news feed.
