is facebook counted a blog?

i was thinking of creating a blog but i remembered that i still have facebook so i thought: you can write what you feel and anything you wanna type on facebook and in blogging, we can do the same except people can like our facebook statuses...

You can blog using Facebook if you want. There are also other free places to set up blogs. One such is wordpress.com.

Facebook is not the same as a blog. Facebook is a social media platform. Your own blog set up by you is your content, whereas you don't have a say on your content posted on facebook. You can create your blog and announce it to friends on Facebook to visit and read.
