OCG: BLACK USERS..Please give me your take on why as a group we are so eager to say negative things to and...?
about one another?
Trending on Twitter right now is How to piss off black people...surprised me and of course the racists are running amok...bringing out all the watermelon, fried chicken, and kool-aid stereotypes..and black folks are weighing in with glee.

BQ: Are we disguising self hate via jokes and willingness to disrespect other black people?

Please non-black users allow black people to complete this question b/c it is expressly for them...TY to everybody.
@ Cougargirl...wth are talking about? Are you even black?

BQ: A lot of black people are....however I'm not...I'm well aware of whats going on

Oh please be quiet, I guess you don't see the negative stuff said about us 24/7? That might be why we retaliate and say negative things back after we have been attacked.Do unto others as they do unto you, got it.

Tbh, its a form of taking out ones frustrations who have internal issues of self hate. See self hate is not literal but many blacks will insult and make fun of others in rage or in fun to deflect the feeling of being apart of the same racial group and place themselves in distinctive category. This is all psychological. Some will situate themselves in other racial groups due to their low esteem. People of other races also do this *I have seen it* but its more common among minorities due to invalid inferiority complexes brought on by eurocentricity.

Im not sure if you understood when I said its not "literal self hate" they dont hate themselves enough to commit suicide, they love themselves enough to change their identity. Its "identity self hate". The blacks that suffer from literal self hate commit suicide or cause bodily harm to themselves <-- this does happen in rare cases. Identity self hate can ultimately lead to literal self hate for some. Or vice versa.

Reason #2:

There are blacks who will rant on other blacks for behaving ignorant I dont blame them in this case so long as they dont use ignorant comments to justify their ranting. I have done it Im guilty, some blacks including african blacks just piss me off with their "nigerdom" rituals.

Well, I try to take things I see & hear on the internet with a grain of salt. In real life I've only met two people who actually hated being black. In real life when I hear a black person criticize another black person it's usually nothing containing to race.

I don't know what's going on but 40 years ago blacks didn't rave and rant about other blacks to non blacks as if we are disfunctional. This fear comes from years of psychological abuse from our society that is past down to generation to generation. We are tearing down each other under the guise of being truthful and honest. But the only thing we're doing is becoming the vetriliquist of white supremacy thinking. Willie Lynch has done his job and the only way we can move forward is to stop worrying about how other see Blacks in America. We get mad at black folks as if they are embarrassing us. But embarrassing to who? White people! Black folks are so scared about how we are percieved by whites that if a black soul didn't behaving as he or should be that whites have a reason to look down at us. That's that old slave mentality. When one slave get out of line then every slave is punished. Blacks are still scared and we are expressing it openly. We have to break free and unlearn from white supremacy thinking. We have to understand there's a multiplicity and diversity of Black life in our community. Is it really that important that we have to show whites about who we are? We exert so much energy into things that is not productive for our community and embracing white patrichal supremacy thinking as it is the right way of living. *sic*

BQ: Yes it is self hate, Willie Lynch, and white supremacy thinking rolled up in one at its finest.

I'm going to answer this somewhat symbolically. There was a saying that was popular in the 60s and 70s, "It takes a village to raise a child.". We have almost lost the village and the child. We need desperately to rebuild the village, to save ourselves, the child and the future. I think that covers the BQ as well.
