What is the use of NEW #hash tags# on fb?
Facebook has recently probably on June 13 added the new hash tag system. In it you write #YourNameOrAnything on a post or comment it appears in blue. What exactly is its use? Undecided Can someone explain it to me?

it is actually copied from twitter..it is used to denote current trends..if u click on it , it'll show who have posted the word already..

it's the same as twitter - it just categorizes your public posts with other public posts, but if you dont post things publicly, then they are pointless
