Did he hide his post from me?

So on Facebook this guy I like posted a status that said "Anyone trying to go to the pool with me and Jacob tomorrow?" And he posted a few days ago that he goes to a specific pool. So I liked his status that said that he and Jacob were going to the pool. Now, just like 45 minutes later, the post doesn't show up on his wall, or my News Feed. I'm 99% sure that he didn't delete it and maybe he hid it from me in the custom settings. Is there any way to know for sure?
I guess it was a technical thing because we're going to the pool together tomorrow!

There's no way to prove it unless you were on his friends list using a different account. If you couldn't see it under a different name he probably deleted it.
