I used to agree with privatizing S.S. I know longer have an idea which is right. Both the US government and the private sector has shown it cannot be trusted with our money. The government wastes it (S.S. is broke) and are not good at policing the private sector.
Private sector has brought about it's downfall through greed. S.S. on the other hand does not pay enough for me and no-doubt others if you live in areas with a high cost of living.
