Locked facebook account because of malicious malware?
I have a problem with my facebook account and I hope someone could help me: this morning I tried to acces my account and a message saying that my account has been locked because they detected a malicious software on my computer appeared. Then they ask me to download a facebook malware extension which I have not downloaded because I am afraid that THAT might be the virus. I feel I have to mention that when I am logging in on a different profile that message does not appear nor does it appear on my phone. Please tell me if you have ever encountered this problem and if you know how to solve it! Thank you!

Pretty sure there is nothing wrong with your Facebook account. It's just a malicious software on your computer.
1)If you are browsing internet on Google Chrome, Go to Settings --> Extensions and see if there is any unusual extension.
2)Then check recently installed applications. (This is inside Control panel but you can also find it if you type 'un-install a program' in your search bar )
3)Or, Just try to log in to Facebook, wait for the message to appear and press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. This wil bring up 'Task manager' and show you the malicious application running in the background.
4) You can also take to computer to a previous 'restore point' So any activities you did after that will be reversed

the problem is either a browser extension you installed, or an app you gave permission to which is spamming your friends
