Where do the ads on Facebook come from?

On Facebook, I get ads, that have nothing to do with what I like!

(I really only use it on mobile)

I get ads, for some apps, and also some really random stuff.

And then on an add, it says. "Sponsored" and then shows a symbol, usually a very small globe, right next to the word.

I am really sick of these ads, I don't want them on there.

Help please.

On Desktop you can block them by using the ad blocker plugin. As for mobile you may not have that option. Go see the phones marketplace and check if there is an ad blocker.
