On Facebook, who can see what I post on OTHER's timelines?

I was wondering who can see posts that I make on other people's timelines, because there are no separate privacy settings for this.
More specifically, if I set a certain list that can see MY posts that I make on my own timeline, does this list also apply to posts that I make on other people's timeline? Will my post on someone else's timeline only appear on the right-hand side of the screen for the people who are on the list?

I hope I can get my point across. Thanks for any help.

Before posting you should select the people for that post using the audience selector tool beside the post button..
