Should I delete my Facebook?
I feel like I have no private life. My parents get hung up if I like a picture they don't agree with because they think it will ruin my reputation of being a good kid. They question me on everything I do on there and I only post things that are appropriate. Many times, I have liked things , and my parents disagree with them. They will then give me a speech on how people with think that I am a bad child, talk about how much more they know than me, be very biased (they are government paid public school teachers), not even look at it at my perspective, and say how they are right and that I'm wrong. I get very annoyed with all of the updates. The only things i like about Facebook is that I can keep up with older friends that are at different schools or are far away, login/register for things easily, and talk to many people easily.

you could delete yours or make another account where you dont add your family, just your friends, but be careful with this type of strategy and do not use your real name for the account.

Now, some people's parents get hung up about this kind of stuff because they are dealing with someone younger that is on facebook. But judging by your level of writing a can safely assume you are old enough to deal with your own acount and reputation. I believe that keeping your realtonships strong through facebook is a very practical use. Personally, I would confront my parents about their involvement in my personal life, but if you aren't that kind of person, I would advise one of these: 1. Delete your facebook. You run the risk of losing friends you care about. 2. (My prefered option) use facebook only to keep in touch with friends, and skip the posting of pictures that your parents deem inapropriate, and the liking of any pictures or statuses. Just use it to message your friends and monitor what they are doing! I hope you liked the advice Smile
