asking this because i want to deactivate facebook for a few weeks then reactivate it

nope! Everything stays the same. I have actually de-activate and then re-activate my account many times and nothing was ever lost.

..But seriously you have no rights over deleting stuff

It just goes into hibernation, nothing is lost, well info from others never gets to you when it's off.

You will loose nothing on de activating your facebook id .
Moreover by de-activating your facebook id you will get more time to other work which you might need to do ?
