She poked me on facebook- wait WHAT?!?
A while ago I met a girl with some friends while keeping it real in Australia. Anyway we talked and she didn't give me the 'who the fuck are you' look so things were going smoothly.

Shortly after she poked me on facebook, which confused me. Fast forward to now and while hanging with some friends, by which I mean internet surfing, I was informed that poking is a subtle way of being interested in someone.

You know... interested. 'Interested' in me. (difficult to put this in proper context) That the person is DTF: down to get funky. Now this would all well and good except for one revelation.

The first time I met her, she walking with me and her boyfriend. Now he hasn't poked me back so I assume that this is a one-on-one request.

What I like to know is: what the hell is poking?

In most situations poking is just a way of having fun and annoying friends.

You can understand poke at facebook as to say “hey, you! wutsup”, but some people have wrong understanding that poke at facebook is symbol of disturbing. Following are the correct meanings of poking at facebook.

1.A “poke” is basically someone trying to get your attentionIt’s one of the meaningless features that are used just to annoy someone.
2.If you poke someone not in your network and they poke back. You can view their profile even if your not their friend!
3.A poke is when you allow someone to see your facebook page for 3 days, so they can know who you are and hopefully add you as a friend.
