How do I make a tagged photo my profile picture on Facebook?

To be completely honest, Facebook's new layout confuses me. I want to make a picture my profile picture, but I have no idea how to. My friend has a photo that I'm tagged in, and there is a "Make Profile Picture" option, but I don't know where to go from there. If someone could give me an easy-to-follow, step-by-step series of instructions - preferably one that my mind could handle - that would be fantastic. Thanks!

you just click that, and crop it like the instructions tell you to do, then save it

Go to picture which do you want to make as your profile pic->click on make this my profile pic->conform.

You can also use photos your friends upload, if you're tagged in them. Just find the photo you want to use, hover over the photo and select Options. Click Make Profile Picture from the menu. Crop the photo and click Done Cropping below the photo to finish making this your new profile picture.
