'Safari Is Using An Encrypted Connection To Facebook'?
I log on quite a bit and have been for a quite a long time on my iMac....this has never happened before and out of complete randomness. I havn't changed any settings, nothing weird happened in between logins, and I even just have it automatically go to my home page and all of a sudden I just see white on the page with a little padlock and I click on it and I get.
'Safari is using an encrypted connection to http://www.facebook.com Encryption with a digital certificate keeps information private as it's sent to or from https website http://www.facebook.com' I have no option to unlock, turn it off, or anything. It just tells me that if I click on the padlock. What can I do to get rid of this? Ads |

That's harmless. All it means is that no one can see what's exchanged between you and Facebook (e.g. by monitoring your connection).
Many sides are migrating to using HTTPS instead of HTTP to improve security. Maybe Facebook is doing the same. Ads |
